9 years of golf & real estate: A MIPIM tradition that keeps growing.
Every year, since 2015, TCP Brokerage has organized a special tradition during MIPIM—the final round of an intense week in Cannes spent discussing deals, trends, and opportunities in commercial real estate. But instead of meeting in a conference room, we take it to the golf course.
This year’s tournament took place on March 14th, the last day of MIPIM. Once again, it was a fantastic way to wrap up the week in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The Game
Our 18-hole round was played in both gross and net formats (usually Chapman, giving everyone a fair shot at victory). And for those who had never held a golf club before, we organized a beginner’s clinic with a pro—starting at the driving range, followed by a short round on the course. Seeing new players get excited about golf is always a highlight!
The Winners
A special thanks to Bodo Hollung MRICS from LIP Invest GmbH - Logistics Investments for generously sponsoring VIP tickets to a Bayern Munich game for the winners.
Gross winner: Axel Baillon (who unfortunately left before collecting his prize). As luck would have it, the next winners had also left, and so the final recipient of the prize was Libor Vincent. Winning his first-ever tournament in the gross category was a moment he’ll never forget—though it was clear from his speech that he wasn’t quite prepared for the spotlight!
Net winner: Philipp Hoffmann (Corestone Legal), who was thrilled—especially since he finished ahead of his partners Said W. Ashrafnia and Dr. Martin Kienzler, last year’s champions.
Networking & Market Insights
After the game, we gathered at the restaurant, where the conversations shifted from birdies bogeys and more to global real estate trends. The market is going through an uncertain phase, but one thing is clear: relationships built on trust and shared experiences are more important than ever. Events like these strengthen the ties between professionals who might be shaping the next cycle of commercial real estate together.
After nine years, this event has become much more than just a golf tournament. It’s a reminder that, even in challenging times, business is about people. Shared passions create stronger connections, and those connections are what drive real success.
Looking forward to next year already!
